I did it!

Yay! I managed to drive for one week on just 1 full tank of petrol!

Hmmm.. At about $50 plus for a week, i think i can make my projected target of $250 for fuel costs...
But...
I took public transport..
I've been cycling and walking occasionally to get to my destinations. Sigh.. doesn't count..

I'm in the financial reds because of the car.
As some of you know, i bought the car originally for family.
To suffer a bit for family, its a good thing.
BUT! in the end my dad changed his mind and decided to keep his car.
So the car is now MINE!

sigh. Because of the 7 years financial commitment...
My plans to own a home, start a family will have to be pushed back a few years...
haha.. No issue anyway.. No one to start family with now..

However, i can no longer live a lavish lifestyle..
No money to pak tor and take girlfriends out for hot dates anymore.
I gotta save, plan and reorganise and restrategize.
Will be drinking water for lunch from now onwards...

Managed to sleep 7 hours last night!

YEEEEEE HAAAAA!
Feels good to be able to sleep!


While cycling along the bike track this morning, i encountered this old guy cycling on his stylo-mylo and cool looking mountainbike..
He was in a semi pro biker attire cum semi coffee shop attire..
As he cycled past this old lady, he raised his arms, smiled and said a bright and cheerful
"hello aunty! how are you this morning!"

He had the most sincere smile. and his untidy greying hairs somehow put you at ease.

Perhaps it was the sky this morning.
The bluest sky you can ever see in singapore. And neat rows of ultra white little puffy cotton ball clouds that were strewed across the whole expense of the sky.
(called altocumulus clouds if you're interested.. Learnt it in scouts.. hehe)
Perhaps it could be the river this morning.
Calm, surreal and still. Reflected the sky almost perfectly like a mirror.

As I rode past him, I lifted my head up and smiled.
He grinned and beamed and helloed.
I lifted my head again and smiled again.

Realised i've been cycling with my head down all this while.
Must be the cap that i was wearing!

Hope to see him again.
He makes me happy.
