Don't You Quit

Hey man..
I cannot abandon the only thing i have now...
Without faith, without hope.. I'm nothing.
Deceiving myself? Perhaps.
Trust, faith and Hope.

Did this for devotions during school assembly years ago...

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill
When the funds are ow, and debts are high
and when you want to smile, buy you have to sigh
when care is pressing yuou down a bit,
rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Success is failure turned inside out.
The silver tint of clouds of doubt
And never you can tell how close you are
It may be near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.
